PITCH A MEDIA PRODUCT IDEA TO AN AUDIENCE

Every Advertisment becomes a reality due to a pitch presentation in order to get the green light the creator needs to consider the genre the synopsis the target audience cast and crew as initial presentation
For this assignment you will create a pitch for CHRISTMAS TV ADVERTISMENT FOR A SHOP OR CHARITY
the duration of my pitch will be 5-10 minutes
you will provide feedback for your peers on their pitch

His product was a Kanye West hoodie which is "rare" something in his pitch which caught my eye would the fact he represented the shop flannels which sell designer products/clothes which is well known, another thing which was done well within the pitch would be the story behind the hoodie and also the reasoning behind choosing to advertise that product and also the extensive research which had been done about the product. I would like to see more research into other designer clothing stores and

write story line .. did he chose a particular person to star in the ad ? why was this person chosen ?
the storyline was a kid wanting a hoodie which was sold out everywhere but he didn't check flannels then his mum gets the hoodie from flannels and the boy didn't think that he would get the hoodie which intended on bringing families together at christmas.

i also believe that more detail should have been added to the storyline as the detail around the product was great but the storyline lacked in information.


 4 Be able to reflect on your own idea and pitch performance

4.1 . Self-critique own idea and pitch performance 
 
I believe that my pitch was quite poor and could have been improved by doing more research and more practice would give me more confidence. I think that the idea was quite good as i managed to have Anthony Joshua to help advertising but i could have added more information than i actually did. My reasoning behind choosing Anthony Joshua is because many people look up to him from younger adults to older men. women also find him attractive which would help the product sell because wider target audience. other products such as pepsi and Fanta influenced me by the how big the drink is in the soft drinks market which made me want to try beat them in sales and taste. the mood i want the viewer to feel when watching the advert is a happy mood which will make people more interested rather than if it made people feel sad. the thing which i am most proud of in this project would be the storyline as i believe that it was pretty detailed. i will make sure that next time i do more research and also set everything up properly. i would change the amount of research i done and also the effort i put into it. if i was alan sugar i wouldn't give the go ahead on the pitch because it wasn't up to standard and could have been created and produced a lot better than it actually was.

i created a audience profie by using the information which i had found out by the research i had done within the questionnaire and also the podcast which i had done at spark where i found out more information we also did little interviews were i asked what people like about movies etc.

What does it mean to collate research
collating is organising the research into relevant sections rather than leaving it unorganised  this is otherwise known as sifting and selecting

explain some best practice with regards to storing your research data securely and with ease of access
you could back up your research to a usb drive you can also save it electronically such as my blog you could also use things such as slideshare ,sd card and you could also store it on to the college shared drive

Research Method

Primary Research Is research which you conduct yourself or hiring someone to do it for you examples of this are interviews, telephones,face to face surveys online and mail this is also known as field research because you are conducting the research yourself

 Secondary Research this i where you use research that has already been created/existing this is otherwise known as desk research because its usually looking through books reports and looking online

 qualitative Research this is primary exploratory research it is used to gain understanding of underlying reasons opinions and motivations it is also less formal and structured examples are things such as focus group interviews


 Quantitative quantitative methods methods emphasise objective measurements and the statistical,mathematical or numerical analysis or date collected through polls,surveys or questionnaires it is also usually done within large groups of people

planning for a short movie

My first task was to design a collage promotional movie this was so that we could get used to adobe premier pro. I worked in a team of 4 with 3 other people Daniel, Josh and Matthew we wrote a script together we have chosen the roles with Daniel who is acting and Matthew who is a director, me which i am being the cameraman and josh who has been assigned to being a screenwriter all members of the team had a differant input/idea which we then decided on the best idea we shared
