Research Techniques

what techniques can you use to find out information
you could things such as surveys, focus groups you could also use research from online as well

What is an information trial
otherwise known as a digital trial it is a trail of data which you create when using the internet you can then use the information and create a bibliography in format harvard

What does it mean to collate research
collating is organising the research into relevant sections rather than leaving it unorganised  this is otherwise known as sifting and selecting

explain some best practice with regards to storing your research data securely and with ease of access
you could back up your research to a usb drive you can also save it electronically such as my blog you could also use things such as slideshare ,sd card and you could also store it on to the college shared drive

Research Method

Primary Research Is research which you conduct yourself or hiring someone to do it for you examples of this are interviews, telephones,face to face surveys online and mail this is also known as field research because you are conducting the research yourself

 Secondary Research this i where you use research that has already been created/existing this is otherwise known as desk research because its usually looking through books reports and looking online

 qualitative Research this is primary exploratory research it is used to gain understanding of underlying reasons opinions and motivations it is also less formal and structured examples are things such as focus group interviews


 Quantitative quantitative methods methods emphasise objective measurements and the statistical,mathematical or numerical analysis or date collected through polls,surveys or questionnaires it is also usually done within large groups of people
