Task 1.1 Produce an organised plan of work for a music video
our plan is to create a music video to an existing song (Thats Not Me) which is a rap/ drill song i am working in a group of 3. we will go to multiple locations where we will film clips or the surroundings and then put them together at a later date

We stuck to our original plan because the song which we chose was not as complex as other song which we where contemplating on choosing meaning that we could stick to our original plan - I have worked to the time scale and managed to hit all deadlines.

2.1show development of ideas with reference to the work of others
I am being asked to create a music video for an existing song. my target audience is people who are interested in the music genres rap and drill i am working with Deacon who will be directing the video and Karim who will be on of the main characters however there will be additional people staring withing the music video we have chosen a song which we are all familiar with which means that it will be easier to make the video on a song where all familiar with we also looked at other rap/ drill songs by artists such and skengdo &am and a boogie wit a hoodie the performers style is wearing tracksuits and image is mainly a roadman type image (London chav) but we will not change this in our video as the video would not match with the song. our initial ideas for our video included going to locations which have connotions with with that music genre such as dark place with graffiti the lyrics in the song give sly shots/digs at other people within the scene and the song has connotations with crime and money as it talks about guns and shooting and also having lots of money.
